Peter Stockland, Vice Chair of the Board, will share his perspectives on the changing publishing world. 

Peter Stockland is Senior Writer with Cardus, and publisher of Convivium. Prior to joining Cardus, he was vice-president of English-language magazines for Readers' Digest Magazines Canada Ltd. He is a former editor-in-chief of The Gazette newspaper in Montreal, a former editorial page editor of the Calgary Herald newspaper and has worked as a journalist throughout Canada during his 30-year career in the media.

Interactive Workshop - The Ministry, Art, Craft, and Business of Writing  - 10:30 AM – 4:00 PM

 NJ. Lindquist will offer a veteran's glimpse into the world of writing and help you create a plan for your next steps. Topics include: 

• ministry (share what’s in your heart in order to help others)


• art (strive for originality, go outside the box) 


• craft (say exactly what you want to say in the way you want to say it)


• business (know your goals, have a plan, work in an orderly fashion, network and promote)
