Event Description

Minding HIS Business

The business world is filled with extensive new-age advice on growth strategies and principles that directly contradict scripture. Minding HIS Business is a summit for Christian women, who desire Christian advice on how to build a business that honours God, ministers to others in the secular business world and meet like-minded business owners with the same intentions. The goal will be to teach women how to merge sacred and secular, in order to run a Christ-focused business that shares the Gospel.

Proverbs 16:3 (NIV) says: “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.”

Since God is the creator of all, He owns everything even our businesses.

“The heavens are yours, and yours also the earth; you founded the world and all that is in it.” Psalms 89:11

During our roundtable discussion, we’ll focus on how to use our God-given talents to create and grow, a for-profit business, that will be a light to the lost and minister to the broken. When we build a business, based on principles in alignment with God’s biblical truth, we become women that are committed to building business through dependence on Christ. The Lord moves into His rightful place as ‘CEO’ of our business.

There is a threefold purpose for this event:

  1. To bring together Christian business women and build a community of like-minded individuals.\

  2. Learn from other believers about how we can use business as an opportunity to share the gospel.

  3. My goal is to inspire the attendees and express the importance of erasing the divide between secular and sacred, infusing the Gospel into everything we do. Encouraging those in business to share their faith beyond Sundays.
